I attended this school and I have to say that I am Grateful for the experience, it has molded me and shaped me for the real world as a makeup artist, if you have an instructor like Ms. Jackie Gorge! You will definitely succeed. I am a full time makeup artist and wouldn’t be half the artist I am now if it had not been for her. She has pushed me beyond my limits and brought out talent in me , I didn’t know I had. If you are on the fence about joining this school, I say Go for it!! Tell Ms. Jackie, I sent ya‼️

Percy Leverett

I started going here in March and I will say my only issue so far is the kit we receive- I think we all expected more for the money we paid or at least better products. Still I really love most of the instructors and I think that’s what the school and students benefit most from. Jackie Jorge is amazing and incredibly passionate about all of her students- she’s helped everyone individually as well as a team. After you meet her you really feel confident in what you do and feel like you have a great mentor to go to. Plus she will actually help you DO what you are capable of. She helps you get experience that’s actually helpful and helps get your name out there. Nicki Oxley was definitely a wild card as a person and a teacher but I think her perspective is very unique and she definitely pushed me to do more than I thought I could. Dustin is awesome with special effects and injuries, he will definitely keep you on your toes so class was never boring. He proved everyday that he knew what he was doing and I honestly felt more confident about my work at the end of his course. Melinda did hair work and aging with us, she is amazing!! She’s incredibly nice and down to earth plus she’s really talented. No one felt put down or pressured by her either which was honestly great. Chris/Charisma is a fantastic teacher and a lovely person. They make coming to class fun and they are very uplifting. Anytime I need/ed help they are always more than willing to talk with me and support my creativity.

I absolutely love this school. Jackie is an instructor here and she makes me excited to come to school every day. Being away from my family is extremely hard but she makes it such an amazing environment to be in while still being very professional. Jackie’s energy is absolutely contagious and she can always put me in a better mood. She makes me feel so much better when she notices my strengths, as well as my weaknesses, so I can work hard to become a well rounded Make-up Artist. She is very understanding and genuinely cares about her students. Anybody would be lucky to have her in their life.

Hello!! I'm a graduate of the Production Program at Cosmix as well as the newest program, Creature Design. My experience was amazing! The staff has become my family and while you're in school, everyone does really become a little family. The teachers are amazing. They've all been in the industry for many many years, with TONS of great advice and wisdom. You will not be disappointed in any of the teachers. From beauty to gore, all the knowledge is here. The program is wonderfully put together and takes you step by step. If you're a beginner in makeup, no problem; if you're semi experienced, like I was myself, the teachers are going to refine and polish you so much, you'll be amazed. After graduation, I was afraid that I wouldn't find jobs. Cosmix has helped me network and find jobs here and there and it's been truly amazing. Just 10 months after graduating, I've already had dozens of gigs and am continuing to find new ones. The school WILL help you, you just need to stay connected. I highly recommend this school if you're interested in becoming a professional makeup artist, they give you everything you need to succeed, however, you do have to put a lot of work in yourself. Totally worth the cost of attending this school if makeup is your passion!!!!

I so happy I found this amazing school for Makeup Artistry! I am travelling from Toronto, Canada and they made the process extremely easy for me. I am currently enrolled in the production program that is 4 months long (June-October). This school has taught me so much and I’m so happy that I chose to learn from one of the best schools in the country. The teachers here are always willing to help you learn. It’s a family here and you would be making a great decision to enroll here!

I started school on August 10th, 2020 and I have had an amazing experience. The instructors have been such an amazing help especially Jackie Jorge she not only listens and answers our many questions but she is so kind and always willing to help, she is the sweetest person I have ever met. In the month and a half I’ve been at Cosmix I feel like I’ve learned so much and my techniques have improved so much. I am so excited to further my journey at Cosmix and my makeup career.

The only licensed and accredited makeup school in South Florida! I highly recommend! I'm currently enrolled in the Master Program which is six months long and provides training in every media including Special FX. My experience so far has been a great time! The instructors are truly amazing, the best of the best. They really care about your education in order to be successful in the industry. I have loved every single one of them!
