I get 90% of all my fishing gear from this company for many reasons the main one is the insurance or gear guard on the fishing rods. The offshore Angler rods are awesome and I use only them and I have brought in some huge fish sharks and rays with them and will not use anything else

Horrible customer service with their gun counter. Tried getting a firearm sent to their FFL and they wouldn't respond to the dealer regarding their FFL certification, and when i tried reaching out this morning i was on hold for about 25 minutes before someone answered. When someone did answer they were rude and didnt give me the correct emailing address. I dont recommend anyone thats making an online purchase to transfer to this store, youre better off looking for someone else

The gentlemen at the firearms counters are nothing short of irreplaceable assets to the bass pro brand. Gibbs, a former US marine helped me today and he’s earned bass pro my business just to come learn more about different products from him and buy. Gibbs is an invaluable asset to the company.

We went on a Sunday; my in laws came to visit and wanted to look at boats. We live over an hour from any Bass Pro Shop but this one is the closest. I can’t tell you enough how wonderful and awesome the employees all are here. I believe the boat sales man’s name is Charles and he was beyond patient, patient, patient! I think my in laws looked at 10 boats and asked a million questions and Charles was so so helpful and amazing! They saw boats in and outside and finally decided on one. Ask for him he’s definitely a professional at what he does!
I also needed a new pair of sunglasses and the 2 friendly helpful ladies in that section really helped me and my husband find what we liked. They were busy at the time we went but still had the time and patience to help everyone. I had been looking for over 30 minutes and the younger lady asked what style or brand or lens shape I wanted. I told her and she showed me a few pairs and found what I wanted.
The cashiers at the front desks and checkouts were just as nice and friendly. They carried conversations with you, asked about your visit and your day. We had been there for several hours and we walked through the whole store while my in laws did their thing and every employee we would see would ask if we needed help with anything or needed help finding something. Our long visit at this place was awesome! We’re definitely coming back to visit everyone was super nice and welcoming!

Arlin at the league city location is absolutely one of the sweetest and most helpful employee I've met. He helped us in the Gun department and Arlin made us feel like he was our grandpa. He’s very informative about guns. Such a good soul, loving spirit. Thank you Arlin for being you and for helping us make the right decision picking our gun. I totally recommend going to Arlin.

A couple weeks ago before a trip to the Buffalo river in Arkansas I came into the store and was helped by Randy. He gave me some pointers and showed me a few rigs that helped me and the guys catch a ton of fish while canoeing the river. I ran into him again today and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Guys like that make a big box store feel like your local tackle shop. Ray in fishing even showed me a couple local spots to try out. Great people.

Customer service is not the good in the gun library, it took over an hour for the associate to help my husband who was interested in a gun. The gun associate was not knowledgeable in the specific gun my husband was interested in, which resulted us going else where to purchase the gun
. Bass pro dropped the ball.

I gave 1 star to the gun library because we were told only the 1 associate in the gun library was able to help us move forward. There was multiple associates at the gun counter who could not assist bc it was not allowed… Bass pro should make that change since it’s the holidays.

I will say the other associates in the other departments were helpful, so I will add 2 stars for the other departments.

Overall experience was a 1 star but the other departments made up for the 1 star.
